Nile Rodgers - musician, composer, arranger & guitarist - is considered one of
the most influential music producers in the history of popular music.
He, along with Bernard Edwards, formed CHIC in 1977 and the band recorded
their first album with Luther Vandross. Their hits, such as "Le Freak",
"I Want Your Love", "Everybody Dance", "Dance, Dance, Dance", "My Forbidden
Lover" and "Good Times", helped propel Disco to new levels of popularity and
have become Club/Pop/R&B standards. CHIC have been nominated to the Rock &
Roll Hall of Fame six times, in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 & 2011.
