The Lion & Unicorn Theatre presents a darkly comic tale of a twisted modern romance.
"I'm not sure getting drunk is the answer..." "Well then you obviously didn't understand the question."
Have you ever fallen in love with somebody you shouldn't have? Sometimes just being near them is enough, not quite enough...but almost.
Set in a city nightspot, Lisa McMullin's new play Siren Song is a trilogy of unrequited love stories; three tales that unfold over three consecutive nights involving three central characters, Tom, Kay and Stuart. Then there's Henry....
Henry knows a secret. He also knows that there are worse things than a broken heart. There's a recession, failing businesses, unemployment, homelessness and humiliation.
Most importantly he knows that in the end it doesn't matter does it? It doesn't matter at all.
Who loved who - who kissed who - who cares?
