The Household Cavalry Museum offers a fascinating celebration of The Life Guards and the Blues and Royals, who uniquely provide HM The Queen's mounted bodyguard on all state and ceremonial occasions. Beautifully showcased military exhibits, views through to the working stables, interactive presentations and superb graphics bring to life the history, ceremonial and combat operations of these elite world renowned fighting regiments. A free multimedia touchscreen tour in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian (with Mandarin, Russian and Portuguese from April 1st 2015) is available to visitors in short and long formats. Some uniform parts can be tried on for really unusual photographs.

Worth combining with The Changing of The Queen's Life Guard on Horse Guards Parade daily at 11am (10am Sundays) or The Daily Inspection in the Front Yard at 4pm. Uniquely British ceremonial pageantry at its best.
