We're Northbound & Down - a pop punk band originating from Halifax. Last year was huge for us; we released our debut album, ‘What’s it Like in Paradise?’ performed on the main stage at the Piece Hall and got featured on BBC Introducing Rock with Alyx Holcombe! We're currently in the midst of another amazing year, having played The Key Club in Leeds earlier this year and expecting to release new music in summertime.

Narwhals is the long-running project built around Mancunian singer-songwriter Jacob Patrick's deeply personal and poetic songwriting and characteristic baritone crooning. Their sound has been likened to The National, Frightened Rabbit and Joy Division but draws on a range of influences from the blissed out post-rock of Sigur Ros or Mogwai to the hard-edged grunginess of Nirvana.
