Jorge Ben Jor is one of the “architects” of Brazilian popular music. Musician with a fundamental role in designing a new approach to samba, mixing with elements of funk and rock, among many other genres. The 17th edition of EDPCOOLJAZZ is thus privileged to receive the warm rhythms with complex compositions that will infect dance in the coolest festival of the summer.
The classics in Jorge Ben Jor's career succeed one another and take on various genres such as the case of “Taj Mahal”, “País Tropical”, “Chove Chuva”, “O Telefone Tocou Novamente”, “Oba La Vem Ela” and the success “Mas, que nada!”, from 1963. The exemplary mixture of various elements of popular Brazilian culture is reflected in the work of the Rio de Janeiro artist, considered by Rolling Stone Brasil to be one of the 5 most important artists in the history of MPB.

The night of July 31 will be a night of living history, as Jorge Ben Jor will present a unique repertoire that reflects a life of timeless compositions and successes. In the 17th edition of EDPCOOLJAZZ, artists like John Legend, Lionel Richie, Neneh Cherry, KOKOROKO, Herbie Hancock and Yann Tiersen are already confirmed.

The tickets issued for the 17th edition of EDPCOOLJAZZ in 2020 are valid for the edition in 2021 and there is no need to change. In case of refund, and following the approval of Law 19/2020 of 29 May 2020, ticket holders are entitled to issue a voucher of equal value to the price paid, to be requested at the place where they purchased the ticket.

The voucher request has to be made at the point of sale where you purchased the ticket.
Ticket holders are entitled to the issuance of a voucher of equal value to the ticket price.
The voucher will be issued to the order of the ticket holder and is transferable to third parties by mere tradition.
It is valid until December 31, 2021.
It can be used to purchase tickets for the same show to be held on a new date or for other events held by the same promoter.
It maintains the insurance that has been contracted at the time of ticket acquisition.
If the voucher is not used by December 31, 2021, the bearer has the right to a refund of the value of the same, to be requested within 14 working days.
