More Information about Plant Life

Plant Life is a brand new, two-day celebration of food, taking place at Camden's Roundhouse on 1st and 2nd June 2018. Brought to you by Franco Fubini founder of Natoora, chef and restaurateur Richard H Turner and festival organiser Clare Isaacs, the event will host chefs from around the globe who will cook, talk, and hold workshops paying homage and hailing the diversity of edible plants.

Plant Life is a movement, a festival with a conscience - not just for vegetarians. On the contrary, meat and fish will have their place but will be bit part players, while the once humble vegetable takes centre stage. The iconic Roundhouse will transform into a series of counter-style restaurants, long table feasts, producer markets and inventive bars, with a rich programme of talks, debates and classes - all to a musical backdrop. Leading chefs, growers and farmers will create a diverse menu of signature dishes you simply wouldn't be able to enjoy anywhere else, alongside wine and cocktails, tastings, live music, and much more.

The first chefs to confirm are Robin Gill and Dean Parker of Sorella and The Dairy, nomadic Mexican chef (and project manager of NOMA Mexico) Santiago Lastra, Damian Clisby of Petersham Nurseries, Chantelle Nicholson of Tredwell's (and champion of all things plant based), Selin Kiazim of Oklava, Josh Eggleton and Rob Howell of Root in Bristol Athanasios Kargatzidis from Baron in Beirut, Nicholas Bafle of Salon and of course Richard H Turner - with many more to be announced.
