Ageas Cooljazz has 4 Concerts per Night

With doors opening at 7pm, the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM start at 8pm, at the Parque Marechal Carmona Amphitheater, followed by the First Concert on the Ageas Stage, followed by the Headliner Concert on the same stage. Dino D´Santiago is today a central figure in the Portuguese Music. The artist works the Cape Verdean tradition with the contemporary weight of global electronics. The albums “Eva” (2013), “Mundu Nôbu” (2018), “Kriola” (2020) e “Badiu” (2021), are the repertoire presented by Dino D´Santiago. The unique voice and the contagious energy of Dino D´Santiago turned their concerts into unique moments, of audience participation and energy. COOLJAZZ prepares an unforgettable Portuguese night, to celebrate the 20 years of the festival. The artist from Algarve had already crossed all musical and social boundaries. With marks in his career, like the participation at The Voice Portugal (RTP) as a mentor, sell out venues all over the country, being recognized by Expresso Journal as being one of 50 personalities that can define the future of Portugal.

Singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, these are some of the facets of MARO. A graduate of Berklee College of Music (Boston), the Portuguese artist made her debut in 2018, having released five albums and an EP in the same year. In 2019 joined Jacob Collier on DJESSE World Tour (2019), as part of the Band. In 2020, “ITSAME, MARO!” was born, a project dedicated to promoting collaborations between artists at a distance. The series includes 100 episodes with artists from all musical genres, like Eric Clapton, Lennon Stella, The Paper Kites, Pablo Alborán, Lizzy McAlpine, Madison Cunningham, ANAVITÓRIA, Ivan Lins, Vitor Kley, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Maria Gadú, Mayra Andrade, Rui Veloso, Lionel Loueke, between others.

MARO was the winner of “Festival da Canção” and represented Portugal at Eurovision (2022), with the song “saudade saudade”. On the same year, released the album “can you see me?” (2022), where the artist explores sounds such as pop, trap, world and folk. On “hortelã” (2023 april), MARO presents an intimate version with an acoustic folk presence.

A born explorer of new sounds, Progressivu is recognized for giving any dance floor the hottest rhythms from the intersection of afrobeat and electronic remixes. On July 19th, he will perform at Late Nights at Parque Marechal Carmona, in Cascais.

For 20 years, Ageas Cooljazz has invited Portuguese artists to present their art on the festival's stages and the night of July 19th is dedicated to celebrating 20 years of Portuguese music at Ageas Cooljazz. Unmissable.

20 years Ageas Cooljazz. The Live Experiences presents the Ageas Cooljazz first edition in 2004, a summer festival that is different. As the years went by, so did the iconic concerts, artists were born at the festival, and the audience became more surrendered to artistic criteria, as well as the comfort of the space. The Ageas Cooljazz became unquestionably one of the most important cultural events in Portugal, assuming their differentiation from year to year and focusing on what sets you apart: a unique cultural lineup, the unique beauty of green spaces, enjoying the architectural landscape, the comfort of having a market sit in a summer festival and the focus in the sustainability since from the first hour of his birth. The Live Experiences is proud of the 20 years of Ageas Cooljazz, with many stories and much to do.

The Live Experiences, which celebrates 25 years of foundation, has been the festival's producer for 20 years and continues to provide unique experiences and emotions to spectators and partners, investing in vibrant and sustainable projects.
