Ageas Cooljazz has 4 Concerts per Night

With doors opening at 7pm, the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM start at 8pm, at the Parque Marechal Carmona Amphitheater, followed by the First Concert on the Ageas Stage, followed by the Headliner Concert on the same stage. After the end of the Headliner Concert, the Late Nights begin at the Parque Marechal Carmona Amphitheater. Confirm all the festival schedules at ageascooljazz.pt  

The collective Fat Freddy`s Drop makes its debut at Ageas Cooljazz on July 30th, 2024. The show takes place at the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo, in Cascais, which is preparing to welcome the New Zealanders in the summer of next year. They are one of the most celebrated bands in the world when it comes to fusion music. Starting from jazz, soul, dub, rhythm and blues, adding electronic music, Fat Freddy’s Drop stand out for being so unmatched in terms of musical style, creating a very wide fan base around them.

Expresso Transatlântico makes them debut at Ageas Cooljazz on July 30th, penultimate night of the 20^th anniversary edition. The portuguese band presents its first album “Ressaca Bailada” (2023) live. Expresso Transatlântico is a musical journey between the influences of Portuguese tradition and contemporary global sounds. With Gaspar Varela (portuguese guitar), Sebastião Varela (electric guitar) and Rafael Matos (drums), the band musically illustrates their experiences with the cosmopolitan and multicultural city of Lisbon as their inspiration, making the Portuguese guitar the main character of their songs.

Gisela Mabel is a Portuguese-Angolan pianist, composer, producer and artist, based in Lisbon. Influenced by both classical, neoclassical, jazz and contemporary, as well as Afro-Brazilian cultural rhythms, her music is characterized by the contrast between delicate melodies and troubled, dense harmonies, in a strongly cinematic and sensorial atmosphere. The result is an expressive style that invites the listener to a moment of introspection and intimacy, in an immersive and emotional experience, which takes the stage at Cascais Jazz Sessions By Smooth Fm.

Matilde Castro grew up with a multitude of musical references and with them came a fascination with exploring and mixing different genres, which ended up manifesting itself when she decided to start broadcasting music and producing events. On the Late Nights stage, she promises to bring this journey based on the multiplicity that characterizes it, from R&B to hip-hop, bounce, dance, funk, jersey club.

20 years Ageas Cooljazz. The Live Experiences presents the Ageas Cooljazz first edition in 2004, a summer festival that is different. As the years went by, so did the iconic concerts, artists were born at the festival, and the audience became more surrendered to artistic criteria, as well as the comfort of the space. The Ageas Cooljazz became unquestionably one of the most important cultural events in Portugal, assuming their differentiation from year to year and focusing on what sets you apart: a unique cultural lineup, the unique beauty of green spaces, enjoying the architectural landscape, the comfort of having a market sit in a summer festival and the focus in the sustainability since from the first hour of his birth. The Live Experiences is proud of the 20 years of Ageas Cooljazz, with many stories and much to do.

The Live Experiences, which celebrates 25 years of foundation, has been the festival's producer for 20 years and continues to provide unique experiences and emotions to spectators and partners, investing in vibrant and sustainable projects.
